The challenge. Rush County Schools needed a substantial renovation of Rushville Elementary — roughly 29,200 square feet of work — completed to a public-school standard and phased so the building would be ready for students and staff when the academic calendar demanded it.
What we did. R. Chavez Construction delivered the renovation as general contractor, sequencing the most disruptive work to protect the school's operations and coordinating every trade to hold the schedule. We managed the project with the documentation and transparency a public district answers for, keeping the facilities team informed throughout.
The result. An updated, modernized elementary facility delivered for the district — on a schedule built around the school year, not around our convenience.
We build around the academic calendar and meet your MBE participation requirement at the contract level.
