The challenge. Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation needed a substantial addition to its Operations Facility to house the district's Maintenance and Grounds departments — built to a public-school standard of accountability, on budget, and with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Chavez Construction delivered the addition as general contractor, self-performing the structural slab and interior flatwork — including high-quality polished concrete — which gave us direct control of the schedule's critical path. We kept the district's operations team informed throughout and managed cost tightly from preconstruction to closeout.
